 Imagine the possibilities...

A wedding is one of the most significant milestones of your life. For that reason, it should be perfect in every way. The instructors at Arthur Murray Dance Centers Hawai'i will teach you the steps and technique to make your first dance a beautiful memory to cherish during your future together. The goal of your Wedding Dance Program, is to instill the confidence that will allow you to enjoy your first dance and... make you one of the best dancers at the wedding!

What to Expect

During your Wedding Consultation, we will help you and your fiancé develop your vision for the perfect first dance, while teaching you how to dance together to the song of your choice.  Your Instructor will then recommend the best Wedding Package to help turn your vision into a reality. During your follow-on lessons, your Instructor will ensure you master each step, while teaching you everything you need to to make a memory that you will cherish forever, while having fun along the way!

Let's Get Started

Preparation for your first dance will take some time. We recommend getting started 3-6 months prior to the big day. The more time you give yourself to prepare, the more comfortable you  will be on the dance floor! If you've put off learning to dance and your wedding is just around the corner then we better get started as soon as possible. Its never too soon or too late to get started.

The most important considerations when it comes to deciding how many lessons you will take:

  • What do you look and feel like now?

  • What do you want to look and feel like?

  • How much time can you commit to both lessons and practice at home?

  • What is your budget?

Our recommendation at the end of your Wedding Dance Consultation will depend on the answers to these questions. â€‹

First Dance Considerations

1. Will being more confident on the dance floor allow you to have more fun?

2. Do you know how to dance in the type of shoes and dress you will be wearing?

3. Will a Band or DJ play your first song?

4. Will there be Mother/Son, Father Daughter or wedding party dances?

5. Will there be dancing during your honeymoon?

6. What size is the dance floor at your reception?

7. How many other weddings will you attend this year?
